Once upon a time Carrie was commissioned to create a companion piece for A Christmas Carol at Baltimore’s Fell’s Point Corner Theatre.  Focusing on a process that she had developed a few years earlier with Aladdin for the Storybook Players, rehearsal commenced with intensive improvisational workshops where storylines, situations, and characters were explored and refined. The result was an interactive, improvisational production where the show was never the same twice.

Directing A Christmas Catastrophe solidified Carrie’s process and model for developing the devised style improvarama –  where dramatic stories meet mischievous comedic imaginations.
